Lavonne Jackson Wright has been singing since the age of six. She performed her first solo in Trinidad at the Cocoyea Open Bible Church where her father pastored. By the time she was eight years old, it was very clear that the Lord had chosen her to bring His Word to life in the ministry of song. She has recorded an album with her home church, Highland Church, where her spiritual father is Pastor Subash Cherian. Wright has also recorded with Groove of Jubal on their CD called “Amazing Vol. 1,” and with several other gospel-recording artists. She has also produced her own album “Need You Now.” She is now preparing to record and release her second album in the fall. She has lead worship for many congregations, including her church home. Worship unto God is where Wright’s heart is—teaching people how to draw closer to Him in their worship. Wright is currently a vocal teacher.
Lavonne’s album is signed with Tate Music Group, a major music label dedicated to working with aspiring artists and giving their music the best chance in the marketplace. If you’ve ever thought about producing an album, you should visit www.tatemusicgroup.com.
